This is probably one of the most beautiful Starbucks I've been to. From the outside all the way throughout the store they've done an amazing job with keeping the Annapolis nautical theme. I feel like if you're already downtown, you have to at least come in and appreciate the attention to detail. It has to be one of the nicest locations around, definitely a huge upgrade from the existing one down the road and around the corner.

As expected this place can get immensely crowded during peak hours and especially during the weekends. Lines can wrap around and don't even get me started on the pick up area, that can get messy. Seating can be a little tricky with the amount of people going in and out, but I feel like once you're there you can't help but want to sit and stay for a while. Baristas were friendly enough during my visit amongst the chaos and worked super fast to complete orders.

Very bizarre experience. I ordered my drink and did not specify my size. My bad. I get my coffee and it looked small for $5. I asked the lady, is it $5 for a small? She barked back that it isn't a small. I was taken a back and waited for an answer. She said, it's a grande. It was so weird. Even her coworkers seemed embarrassed by her response. Sure she was right, the size was a grande. She gave no eye contact like she had a disdain that I were to dare ask anything about my order. I felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi. The man who took my order was nice. I've been here a couple times, it's consistently fine. I like dealing with friendly people and it isn't expected to deal with rude disgruntled employees when your vibes are tranquil. Like I said coffee was fine.

Rather than going postal on me because I helped myself to a straw Maggie, you could have simply offered me one when you delivered my drink.  It's called "Hospitality" for a reason.  I've extended pleasantries why don't you do the same? #buzzkill

This is probably the nicest Starbucks in the area. It's large, new, beautiful with lots of seating and friendly staff.

One thing I'm not a fan of is that you have to walk all the way to the back to order and there's really no signs indicating it.

If you aren't familiar with the layout, you'd probably just walk in and stay in a "line" or with the crowd thinking you will be able to place the order soon only to realize that's the order-pick-up area... maybe the "order here" sign we see at some locations will come in handy here...

Great if you want to die in a stampede of 12 year old Catholic school girls. Starbucks' dream to make a beautiful, spacious ode to the Naval Academy was immediately crushed by the children from Lord of the Flies. At 9 months pregnant, I was literally pushed out of the way twice - once by a 12 year old Catholic school girl, and again when I held the door open for an 8 year old boy who slammed his backpack into my pregnant stomach.

Seriously, the place is beautiful and could be such a nice hangout for Annapolis' classy residents, tourists, and the military personnel it was built to commemorate. Until they ban anyone under 16 who isn't accompanied by a parent, this Starbucks will be a highly-caffeinated daycare.

Layout wise, it's ok, but hard to navigate. You have to walk a narrow aisle between the counters, line, and seating to the back of the Starbucks to order, work your way back up, and then walk *back* to the seating area once you have your coffee. Very poor flow, especially when you're being crushed to death by the hordes of caffeinated private school children. The bathrooms are spacious and good for parents, but the sinks are HUGE! Like, two feet long, and the faucet is set inches from the wall. They look cool, but god forbid you're pregnant or even remotely fat, you'll have to set your stomach inside the sink to be able to use it.

Please, for the love of all that's holy, ban the children. I felt less crowded in NYC. This is MADNESS!!
